Admission of foreign citizens
to the EI “Brest State Medical College”

The Educational Institution “Brest State Medical College” provides training on the basis of general secondary education in the specialties:

2-79 01 01 “Curative Affair”,  qualification”paramedic-obstetrician , doctor’s assistant for the outpatient-polyclinic care”
Duration of training: 2 years 10 months.

2-79 01 31 “Nursing Affair”, qualification “nurse”
Duration of training: 1 year 10 months.

Form of training: Full-time
The cost of training for the foreign students is:
1,540,800 Belarusian rubles permonth (depending on the tariff rate of the 1st category).

Rules of the admission
Persons with general secondary education or vocational education with general secondary education can enter the EI “Brest State Medical College” to obtain the average special education in full-time (day) form of education.
Foreign citizens and stateless persons may enter the EI “Brest State Medical College” for secondary special education:
at the expense of the budget or on a fee basis – in accordance with the international agreements of the Republic of Belarus;
on a fee basis – based on the results of final testing during the development of the content of the educational program of training  persons for admission to educational institutions of the Republic of Belarus;
on a fee basis – based on the results of the interview in the EI “Brest State Medical College”,establishing the level of their language proficiency in which the educational process is carried out, in an amount sufficient for the development of the educational program for secondary special education.
Invitation to the training is issued at the request of a foreign citizen (or a person representing him), indicating the specialty.
To receive the invitation to the training it is necessary to provide:
1) a copy of the document of education with the indication of studied subjects and received marks (points) on them.
2) a copy of passport (national / foreign).
3) a copy of the birth certificate.
At the same time their notarized translation into Belarusian or Russian language is attached for the documents executed in a foreign language.
Admission of the foreign citizens and stateless persons to obtain the secondary special education is based on an agreement on the preparation of a specialist (worker) with the EI “Brest State Medical College ” by the budget, on an agreement on the preparation of a specialist (worker) with the EI “Brest State Medical College” on a fee basis, concluded by the EI “Brest State Medical College” with the foreign citizens and stateless persons (legal representatives of underage foreign citizens and stateless persons upon presentation of the documents confirming the status of the legal representative of the underage foreign citizen and stateless person), or with the representatives of foreign citizens and stateless persons acting under a power of attorney, certified by a notary or an authorized official, as well as a legal entity (an individual entrepreneur, a natural person), carrying out the payment of tuition fees (if present),  in which besides the conditions laid down by the law, liability of the sides is provided to pay the costs if there is necessity to expulsion of a foreign citizen and stateless person outside the Republic of Belarus.
Arriving foreign citizens and stateless persons to study in full-time (day) form of secondary special education, are enrolled in the EI”Brest State Medical College” after the passage in the territorial health organizations defined by the EI “Brest State Medical College”by agreement with the Governance of Health of Brest regional executive committee, mandatory medical examination confirming the absence of medical contraindications for training in the Republic of Belarus. The list of medical contraindications to training of the foreign citizens and stateless persons, arriving to study in the Republic of Belarus, is established by the Ministry of Health in coordination with the Ministry of Education.
A prerequisite for the admission of foreign citizens and stateless persons to the EI”Brest State Medical College” is that they have an identity document, visas (if necessary) and a contract of compulsory health insurance drawn up in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Belarus.
Admission to training of the foreign citizens and persons without citizenship is carried out in coordination with the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Belarus.

Foreign citizens and stateless persons (their representatives) fed to the admissions office the following documents:
statement addressed to the Head of the college in the prescribed form of the Ministry of Education;
certificate (document) of education with the subjects taken and received marks (points) on them – subject to acceptance in accordance with established procedure of these documents in the Republic of Belarus;
conclusion of the medical advisory committee, issued by the territorial organization of Health of the Republic of Belarus (after passing the mandatory medical testing with the direction of the EI “Brest State Medical College”) – for the applicants for full-time (day) form of education;
medical conclusion on the health status and certificate of absence of HIV infection, issued by an official health authority of the country from which the applicant for training has arrived;
original (copy) of birth certificate;
6 photos 3 x 4 cm;
certificate of completion of the preparatory department, preparatory courses of ISSE (at the end of the preparatory departments, preparatory courses of ISSE).
Their notarized translation into Belarusian or Russian language simultaneously is attached to the listed documents executed in a foreign language.

 

                                     Passageof the entrance tests

Applicants from the number of foreign citizens and stateless persons who do not have certificates of completion of preparatory departments, preparatory courses, having knowledge in the language in which the educational process is carried out, are interviewed for a decision about the admission. The procedure for the interview is established by the Ministry of Education.
The college offers an academic building and a hostel. The college has a hostel, an assembly hall, dining room, library, gym, stadium and other structural units. Classes are held in well-equipped classrooms, laboratories of the college and in the  health care institutions of the city of Brest.
Students of the number of foreign citizens are provided by the hostel to stay for the duration of training.
